Over the coming weeks the Parish of St Helier will be looking to improve the process of paying your invoices by giving you the choice of receiving payment by BACS directly into your bank account rather than a cheque in the post.

We have already circulated letters to many suppliers in the island and many thanks to those who have already responded.

BACS has many advantages including:

• Cleared funds directly to your nominated bank account
• No more waiting for cheques to arrive by post and then delays whilst funds clear
• No risk of cheques getting lost or delayed in the post
• No requirement for you, the supplier, to complete credit slips and visit your bank to pay them in
• Business accounts may enjoy reduced charges
• It will help to further keep parish rates as low as possible

To further reduce the paper chase, we would also like to send remittance advices directly to your email address on the same day we send you the funds.

If you haven't already received a BACS payment request form, please download and complete the form below and return it to Dawn Kerfoot at the Town Hall. Please note that we require an original signature on the forms so we are unable to accept forms electronically.
