Following the Met Office Warning please be aware that a combination of strong to gale force winds and high tides are expected to cause some flooding along Jersey's south coast. Highest risk is on Wednesday morning's high tide at 08.07.
The Parish of St Helier have put out 2 cages containing sand bags at First Tower and a further 2 cages at Havre Des Pas. Residents who live in these locations can take sand bags from these cages to protect their properties if they feel that they are at risk. Sand bags can also be collected and returned from the St Helier Parks Department, La Grande Route de St Jean. Please phone 811708 between the hours of 07.30 - 15.00 to make arrangements.
