A 210mm diameter borehole has been sunk to a depth of 99 metres to supply water to the existing irrigation system in the park.  This follows the failure of the existing borehole which during recent years has been unable to provide enough water to operate the irrigation sysem.  This new system will allow us to irrigate at night during the summer months and this will enable the grass to withstand the heavy wear and tear in this busy location.
