With the closing date passed for entrants to the forthcoming Mr & Miss St Helier event, the parish is still waiting to hear from any young men willing to enter the competition.

St Helier is traditionally the only parish to crown both a Mr and Miss St Helier. This year, however, there have been no applications for the Mr St Helier competition. The event takes place on Saturday 27th March. In the hope of attracting some late entrants, the parish is extending the closing date by another week to the 22nd of March.

There are prizes for all entrants, plus for the winner the honour of representing their parish.
