Prospective candidates pulls out of race

Mr Graeme Jenkins and 2008 candidate Mr Rod Bryans have withdrawn their names from the list of prospective candidates for the Senatorial By Election on 16 June. 

On the same day, news came in that 2008 candidate, Mr Nick Le Cornu, has decided to put his name forward at tomorrow nights Nomination Meeting.

The Nomination Meeting will be held in the Assembly Room at the Town Hall at 19:30 and is open to everyone. Anyone wishing to stand must complete a Nomination Form and bring it with them on the evening. It will greatly assist the officers organising the meeting if prospective candidates could check that the names on their forms are safely on the Electoral Roll and eligible therefore to propose and second a nomination.
