Notice is hereby given in accordance with article 67 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956 as amended that in connection with the D-Day Commemoration Service being held on the morning of Sunday 6th June 2010, certain roads will be closed or restricted in their use, as set out below. We would advise all motorists to avoid the roads around the Cenotaph from 10.50am until 11.30pm.
Roads closed
Seale Street
York Street at the junction of Dumaresq Street (access to Dumaresq Street and Hue Street via this junction)
Union Street from Le Geyt Street
The Parade from Gloucester Street down to Union Street
Vauxhall Street will be closed from the junction of Val Plaisant and Vauxhall Street for the purpose of a dedication service of the Baptist Church. This will take effect from 10am to 10.30am.
