The Circus of Horrors - The Ventriloquist - 22nd - 24th March 2012

Following on from the huge success of The 4 Chapters from Hell, The Circus of Horrors has had a major revamp and is back rocking' and shockin' with the fangtastic new show 'The Ventriloquist'. Sixteen years after its conception at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival, the show has gone on to tour the world, achieving cult status and dragging itself screaming and shouting into the 21st century and beyond.

The new sensation will take you on a whirlwind journey through 1921 Berlin, three years after the First World War. This was the roaring twenties, a decedent decade and the birth of the Cabaret.

One particular venue was struggling to make ends meet, new blood was needed and it was found when Dr Haze rolled in to town with his Vampire Vaudeville show, featuring hair hanging beauties, twisted contortionists, flying aerialists, demon dwarfs, gyrating jugglers, voodoo warriors, pickled people, sword swallowers and its latest and greatest new-found star 'The Ventriloquist'.

With a brilliant and awe-inspiring supporting cast, The Circus of Horrors features some of the greatest, most bizarre and beautiful Circus acts on earth. Where else can you see a daredevil sword swallower swallowing a lit neon tube? Where else can you see a beautiful creature hung upside down while a dare devil trapeze artist performs an exquisite arial act hung solely from her partner's hair? Where else can you see a contortionist contort her body while firing an arrow from a long bow with her feet? All this and a whole lot more.

Without a doubt a musical masterpiece with the pulsating Devil-driven rock 'n' roll of Dr Haze and the Interceptors From Hell.  Imagine if Quentin Tarantino had directed Cirque du Soleil, then you would be only half-way there.....
