The Millennium Town Park Implementation Group formed at the end of 2009 following a States agreement to proceed with developing the long-planned public park in Bath Street / Gas Place. The group’s purpose is to advise the Planning & Environment Minister on the future design of the Town Park area and associated car parking while taking into account the results of the North of Town masterplan public consultation exercise and the financing options for the project.

The Group consists of politicians, states officers and members of the public interested in seeing plans for the park come to fruition.
