How to move into a Parish home
Anyone wishing to move into a Parish home can either contact the home direct, or be referred by their GP, social worker, hospital or family member.
It is important that you feel completely happy with any choices you make regarding a home, and therefore the Homes Manager of the residential home will help answer all of your questions and organise visits to the home as many times as required.
Each home offers a one-month trial period to make residents feel safe that they can change their minds if they decide the home is not suitable for them. Residents will be given help with further choices if this is the case.
Our Staff
The Home Manager has overall responsibility for the home, its residents and staff. The staff teams are made up of qualified health care professionals and care assistant staff.
Housekeeping staff will clean all residents’ rooms and communal areas on a daily basis. Kitchen staff provide a varied and nutritious daily menu, and will endeavour to meet any special dietary needs.
Funding
The cost of staying in one of the homes varies. Funding can be arranged if finances are below a certain level; if they are above this same level then the full amount will be expected. If you have any queries regarding financial matters, our Homes Liasion Officer can help you.
Contact our Homes Liason Officer, Julie Garrod, who can answer any queries with regard to moving into care and arrange visits without obligation.
