We’re thrilled to announce our new St Helier Ambassadors – Kelly Pontes, and Junior Ambassador Charley Skinner.
Many of you will recognise Kelly, who was appointed Junior Miss St Helier in 2013. Now 21, and having left Beaulieu in 2016, Kelly is studying musical theatre in London and also teaches ballet. Kelly says, “Seven years ago I was appointed Junior Miss St Helier 2013 and had a jam-packed year along with my senior Ambassadors, who were equally as wonderful. I wanted to enter as Senior after that experience, as I feel I will be able to do and gain much more from the experience. I also love getting involved as much as possible, and was keen to immerse myself in all aspects of life within the Parish once again.”
Charley Skinner, our new Junior St Helier Ambassador, attends Haute Vallée and has just selected her GCSEs. Charley says, “I wanted to enter the competition because St Helier is a lovely Parish to live in. We have some lovely beaches and parks that we can go to.” Charley is also a passionate supporter of the Battle of Flowers and has been in involved with St Helier Battle of Flowers for the last three years alongside her mother.
Our thanks go of course to Dani Nobel-Devenney, St Helier’s 2019 Ambassador, and our 2019 Junior Ambassadors, Heather Armstrong and Dante Nardone, for all of your assistance and participation with Parish events over the past year.
