The Constable and Procureurs of the Parish have announced this afternoon that the renewal period for Residents’ Parking Permits has been deferred until the end of June.
In the normal course of events, the RPZ year runs from 1st May to 30th April annually, and all permits were due to expire next week. Permit holders are assured that they can continue to display their current permit in windscreens beyond the expiry date and up to the end of June.
Furthermore, the Constable and Procureurs, together with St Helier’s Chief Executive Officer, discussed at length the fees to be charged for the coming year, and are pleased to announce that fees will only be calculated from the date that the lockdown period ends. The total fees will be confirmed in a renewal notice that will be issued by the Parish at the appropriate time.
Permit holders and all parishioners are advised to continue to check the Parish’s social media accounts for further announcements in due course.
