Printmaker and etcher Flora McLachlan studied art at Brighton College and has exhibited throughout the UK, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2005, at Glyndebourne, Lewes and at the Mall Galleries, London.
'My work grows out of the experience of observing the landscape and the process of translating the experience into print. The motif of the quest found in folk and fairy tales informs my landscapes with a sense of travelling, both outwards into the wild forest and inwards into the mysteries of self. I'm looking for a lost magic: a glimpse through trees of the white hart' - Flora McLachlan.
