In Search of St Helier Waterfront : Guided Walk

From Easter this year the Parish has provided a series of free weekly two hour guided walks open to all comers. The aim is to encourage a greater knowledge of the Parish's rich history for the benefit of parishioners, as well as supporting Jersey's tourism industry - which will also assist the town's retail and hospitality sectors. The programme of walks has been devised by Tom Bunting, whose 'Murder, Muck and Mayhem' walk has been enjoyed by hundreds over the years, and will feature some of the Island's experienced and qualified Blue Badge Guides as well as experts on St Helier's maritime history and wartime experiences.

Join tour guide Remi Couriard for 'In Search of St Helier Waterfront' on Thursday 24th October. Find the origins of Jersey's town's true frontage, and how far the Bay of St Aubin came into this ancient vallée. Explore some of the old warehouses, plus what remains of old sea walls. Our waterfront has continually been on the move. Let's go for a walk to the 'seashore'.

These walks are proving extremely popular so don't miss out - please search for 'St Helier guided walk' at to book your space.

For more information on any of the walks please telephone Tom on 07797 780868.
