Literary St Helier : Guided Walk

Literary St Helier : Guided Walk

Starts: 26-09-19

From Easter this year the Parish has provided a series of free weekly two hour guided walks open to all comers. The aim is to encourage a greater knowledge of the Parish's rich history for the benefit of parishioners, as well as supporting Jersey's tourism industry - which will also assist the town's retail and hospitality sectors. The programme of walks has been devised by Tom Bunting, whose 'Murder, Muck and Mayhem' walk has been enjoyed by hundreds over the years, and will feature some of the Island's experienced and qualified Blue Badge Guides as well as experts on St Helier's maritime history and wartime experiences.

Thursday 26th September at 10.30am. From the Knights of the Round Table to Victor Hugo, Jersey has been the inspiration for writers and poets over the centuries. Take a walk on the literary side and discover more about some of the Island's greater- and lesser-known wordsmiths.

These walks are proving extremely popular so don't miss out - please search for 'St Helier guided walk' at to book your space.

For more information on any of the walks please telephone Tom on 07797 780868.
